The Norman Tigers held the number one position in the Daily Oklahoman poll longer than any other team in the state, ending the season by being ranked second in the state. Thev tied for Mid-State Confer- ence, winning ten and losing only two. The team missed the service of Allen Morain, the leading scorer for two years. One of the best players in the state, Allen made the Mid-State All Star team in 1952.
