Weightlifting Club This is a non-profit organization which promotes the general physi- cal well-being of its members and promotes competitive weightlifting for those interested. MSB was organized on campus last year for four reasons: 1. To increase knowledge in all fields of broadcasting; 2. To encour- age extra-curricular activi- ties in broadcasting; 3. To promote social activities among broadcasting stu- dents; and 4. To promote an interest in broadcasting among present and prospec- tive MSU students. MSB meets bi-monthly and has varied interests. MSB works in cooperation with campus radio station WMSB; has a bulletin board in the Union featuring music happenings; and sponsors a third class radiotelephone license with a broadcast endorsement course. 213
