Alpha Psi Omega Alpha Psi Omega, a national honorary dramatic fraternity, is dedi- cated to stimulating interest in college and university theatre. Member- ship is attained by invitation, a reward to those students who demon- strate a desire to promote theatre by completing a prescribed amount of work in all phases of theatre, at MSU or other institutions of higher learning. Besides student directed productions, members of the MSU chapter were actively involved with Blackfriars Drama Society in the theatrical productions of the past year: Under the Yum Yum Tree, ' A Midsummer Night ' s Dream, and Fiddler on the Roof. Alpha Zeta The fraternity of Alpha Zeta was established Novemb er 4, 1897, at Ohio State University. Alpha Zeta was founded as an honorary professional service fraternity. The main objective is the promotion of agri- culture in its broad concept while encouraging and developing its actual and potential leadership. Burk- ett, one of the founding fathers of the fraternity once said, The spirit of the fraternity was to give, not to receive; to serve, not ourselves, but the agriculture body, the whole cause of higher agricultural educa- tion and, in every way possible, all people engaged in the profession of agriculture. This exemplifies the characteristics needed by all members of Alpha Zeta. To be eligible for regular membership one must be a student in some field of agriculture, rank in the upper 2 5 of his academic class, and have completed three semesters of college work.
