CARNIVAL ATTRACTS CROWD OF 3,000 61 Over 3,000 peo le poured through the main doors of tllie Physical Education Building to make this year's Charity Camiv the bi gest in- history. More than 53,350 was spent in the carnival atmosphere. The price of the tickets sold for the door prize, a magna- vox high fidelity stereo, added muc to the grand total. For the first time in the history of the Charity Carnival, awards were presented to the organization that took in the most money.

TAU KAPPA EPSILON AND KAPPA THETA Seven awards were presented after the Carnival by Master of Ceremonies, Mike Chial. Tau Kap a Epsilon and Kappa Theta, won tro llies for All-Participation, Money Slgow, Best Show, and Barker Contest Award. Other winners were Social Studies Club for Money Concessions, Nurses Club for Concessions, Crawford Center for Poster Contest Award, and Alpha Beta Mu for Ugly Man Contest. Tap Kappa Epsilon and Kappa Theta's production The Keg featured such well-known college entertainers as Barb Keith, the College-town Singers, the Dumb Fudge Brothers and the Kappa Theta Dancers. Barb Keith sings for capacity audience in Tau Kappa Epsilon and Kappa Theta's Keg.
