The Sunshine Society had fifty-one members, this year. Thirteen girls were initiated at a formal ceremony held in the school gymnasium, November 18. To make money for the Riley Fund and other activities we had twenty-five cent dues, a Tupperware Party, and cake raffles at the basketball games.During the year the Sunshi.ne Society sponsored Chapel Programs, sent cheer cards, and helped a needy family at Christmas. New officers were installed in the Spring, at which time we had a tea for our mothers and also revealed our Ideal Ladies. The Student Council this year was in charge of cheerleader elections, the organization of the Pep Club, and Assembly Programs. Our money making project is running the check room at ball games. The first meeting was held November 28. At this meeting we elected and initiated eleven new members as Green Hands. The initiation of the Chapter Farmers was December 3. There were ten members raised from Green Hands to Chapter Farmers. For a money-making project we had a scrap drive on October 13, on which we earned one hundred twenty dollars. Xlisi? '52 C .
