To better perform this mission. EISRA- 86 has allowed renovations to all ship ' s stores, including relo- cation of the clothing store to the former GINZA walk-in store on the second deck and the addition of a HIGH-TECH GINZA in the former clothing store on the third deck. The addition of the HIGH-TECH GINZA allows the crew to shop in one location for all stereo. VCR. and camera needs. From video cables to televisions, one-stop shopping is available for all hands in MIDWAY ' S new HIGHTECH GINZA. The loca- tion of the ALL-NEW special order window to the crews ' lounge allows S-3 to assist processing catalog orders and process flower orders for MIDWA Y. The forward and aft smo- keshops continue to offer a wide selection of toiletries and sundries to the crew . and for MIDWAY ' S sweet-tooth. the soda fountain on the second deck is open around the clock. All profits from MIDWAY ' S ship ' s stores go to the MIDWA Y Welfare and Recreation Fund, providing an addition- al boost to morale. S-3 also operates the finest, high-quality laundry in the Fleet. In processing over 2 million pounds of laundry and dry cleaning per year. 24 hours a day. S-3 keeps MIDWAY ' S officers and crew looking sharp. In addition to the ship ' s stores and laundry. S-3 operates the crews ' and officers ' barbershops, delivering over 80 thou- sand haircuts annually. S-3 ' s performance in all these areas is a key ingredient in MIDWAY Magic. contributing to MID- WA Y ' s ability to perform her operational mission successfully.
