Ramos MS1 C Reaves S-2 DIVISION Service to the Crew is the l eynote of the Food Service Division. With a choice of the main galley, the fast food galley, or the Wiener Wagon, the crew can obtain a well-balanced, home-cooked meal around the clock when underway. While in homeport. ' fvlixson ' s Fixin ' s ' serves hamburger and hot dog specialities. Whatever the time or place. S-2 takes pride in providing our own form of MIDWA Y fi lagic to our hardworking crew. Whether an Ice Cream Social or Pizza Night to cap off an underway period, a celebration for new fa- thers and birthdays honorees. or a Steel Beach Picnic, it ' s only the best for the patrons of Hotel 41. Keeping all the food service spaces, equipment, and utensils clean and ready for use is the mission of the 170 TAD personnel assigned to S-2M. This round-the- clock job is not a glamorous one. but is an essential part of the food service operation. Our hats are off to those hard working folks! The efforts of all the Food Service Division became known Navy- Wide when USS fvllDWA Y was selected as a finalist in the Ney Memorial Award competition for excellence in food service for 1986.
