TITLE IN SECOND YEAR RIVERCREST 27 - 8 - A first game defeat by a AA team was disappointing, but not demoralizing to the Cardinal team. WASKOM 14 - 27 - The Cards battled back after the Wildcats scored on the kickoff to win their first game. COMO-PICTON 0 - 20 - Superb rushing plus solid line defense gave the Cards an easy victory for their first district game. JAMES BOWIE O - 56 - The tough Cardi- nal defense posted their second shut-out as the offense rolled again. HARLETON 6 - 56 -' It took a hard- fought battle to pick up the third straight Cardinal district Win. After a near break-down early in the game, the de- fense gained momentum to stop the Wildcats cold the second half. FOUKE 6 - 67 - The Cards offense ex- ploded this week to blow the Panthers out of the stadium.
