SIP demonstrates turn around in trends Several reasons made this year good for reform. ln spite of less-than- hoped-for athletic seasons, the sen- ior class was a leader in spirit events for three years and served as a good example while the administration, with its two new members, showed a great amount of enthusiasm toward returning student pride to previous levels. Another reason was most evident during the orientation assembly when Mrs. Gloria Smith, assistant principal, predicted a change in stu- dent attitudes. Student lnvolvement Program, CSIPJ designed to get students involved in school, demonstrated another attempt by the administration to encourage positive attitudes. Opening-13
