In a Senior-Faculty basketball double-header on February 21, the senior boys and girls were slated against the women and men faculty. Pic- tured at left, the fairer sex seem to be playing a pretty rough game of basketball. At the beginning of this school year the girls decided on a uniform of white sweaters, plaid skirts, blue knee socks, emblems, and plaid dickies. Main event of the Spring Boys' League Coun- SENIOR OVERPOWERED UN- BEATEN JUNlORS in the annual Boys' League Interclass Track Meet sponsored by the Spring Boys' League Cabinet. The sen- iors scored an outstanding vic- tory, tallying 99 points. Next came the iuniors with 83 points. The frosh came in third with 21 points, and sophomores with 17 points. Meet director D o u g Tonn, termed the race a great success. Both girls and boys entered into the contests and seniors an- swered the challenge and de- throned the defending iuniors. Boy's League Really Moves ln Spring ison student body swayed to the music of mperials in double assemblies on May 5 in auditorium. ,The Spring Boys' Council con- d the lmperials thru Bob Holden, drummer attends Madison. Below are shots that captured'the excitement and meaning of the event. May 13, at 3:30 P.M., Mayor Terry Schrunk lit the torch which was run to Madison to light the 9-foot main torch in the Madison courtyard. Committee chair men were' Pres. Terry Brown, V. P. Doug Tonn, Sec. Ernie Wood- cock, Hist. Greg Etchison, Treas. Glen Post, Jr. Rep. Mike Butts, Soph. Rep. Jack Smelzer, and Frosh Rep. Ed Crawford. From the torch lighting to the hootenany this was a memorable group of events.
