Batzer 4 Student Volunteers THE Student Volunteers ot Macalester, primarily a mission study group, have this year carried on a state wide deputation program, held regular Sunday atternoon meetings at which it sponsored several noted missionary speakers, enjoyed pow-wows and social evenings, and is cooperatively working with the state organization. Last spring they held a three day retreat at Mille Lacs Lake and this year participated in the state retreat which was held iust outside St. Paul. Otticers tor I936 were James Butler. president: Ella Franz, vice-president: Ardythe Hiort, secretary, and Gordon Jaeck, treasurer. Dean and Mrs. R. U.
