PROP Cameras, lights, actionl 'I'he time is 1966, cmd we see what's happened to our Seniors of '46. We buzz around in one of the Gasway Better Blimps. The blimps use only Levinson Air Products and the Wheaton Mechanical Service. While up in the air, we're sure to meet one of the Booth airliners. Donald Stobaugh leads the Booth pilots on to higher altitudes while Patsy Fuller, luanita Lawrence, and Jeanette Gibson 'fsend the passengers through their efficient hostessing. The planes run on Ettredge Musta-Pasta Gasta. The plane parts are made by Iean Williams Weary Workers. Arriving at Grand Central, we hand our bags to the red-cap, Gene Taylor. Head boss or pink cap is Wanda Mullican, known to her underdogs as slave-driver. We buy a copy of the latest Carney publication, and are surprised to see Pat Freeman's face on the cover. Registering at the Lawless Hotel, we hungrily hurry to Haddad's Hash House, where we eat the original concoctions of the chef, Sloppy Bill Satterwhite. The waitress is none other than Carala Morgan. In the mood for heavy drama, we go to Pakenham Palace, to see Yyvonne Deaklns starring in Evan's production of Always Rosemary fMorrisl . Nancy Bass, lack Miller, and Billie Io Smart, com- plete the cast. The Palace is a favorite celebrity spot so we expected to meet Richard Kennedy, author of the best-seller, 'Physics Made Easy, and his charming wife, the former Betty Gilbert. We couldn't miss gossip columnist, lim Cashell, wealthy steel magnate, Doyle Griffith, and managing editor of Women's Little Buddy Betty Warren. After the show, we drop in at Shelton's Speakeasy to be entertained by Five Giggling Gam Girls, Louise, May, Martha, Alice, and lane. Bobby Collier is the chief bone-crusher for a dog food concem. lane is the private swooner for Glenn Iohnston, the bobby-soxer's idol. Retuming to our room, we crawl between two Bivins Bumpy Blankets and settle down for a beauty sleep on Pearson's Perfected Pillow. Eloise Richardson inspired the Pearson's genius to greater heights. We are awakened by the sun streaming through a Rambo Plastic Window and barely make it to Washington where we're to meet the President, Howard Kuhn. Arriving there, we drop in at the Iones-Blatt Laboratory in time to watch the perfection of a let- ter-folding machine. 'I'hey greatly impressed Einstein so that he left them all his secrets. 'I'he rising sun finds us in St. Louis to see the city's mayor, Alford Kline. We learn of the city attomey, Tommy Sanford, then leave the city hall and buy a newspaper from Iere Mitchell. We rent a Rogerson Radium race car from the Forbis Easy-Payment which speeds us to Texas. fWe tumed down a ride with Max Patterson, ace salesman for the Castleberry Comb, because Max had to peddle his rakes to the Rea Hardware store.l Dallas is our next stop. Parked in the Bames Buggy Bam, we leave and rush past the Bain Beauty Salon to the Hutson-Sharp Cafeteria. We fall down on the Foster Finished Floor, and the comer police- man, Max Langston, directs us to that astounding department store, Hancock-Eversole. We buy a bottle of Carrither's Secret upon entering the store. Upon entering the store, we climb the stairs to watch La Nell Chandler and Geraldine Crockett model the Mary Lewis Fashions. The chief floor-walker, Billy Martin, recommends a soda which Ierry Majors jerks for us at Dews Dumfounded Drug. Here we meet Dilcie Killingsworth, president of the Athletic Club. We leave the Alford Airport in an auto-giro and zoom over Grave's Grand Works on our way home. At large tn Terrell, we learn Ioy Griffith may be found cheerfully cutting out large V's ffor V.l.M. of course.l The Longview Municipal Airport fCarroll Kuykendall, managerl looms ahead and we glide in on the Huffman-built landing strip, hearing sounds of a scuffle in a nearby cottage. We distinguish Mrs. Robert Wood fHelen Holimanl and her fond mate getting their moming exercise, and we dash to the nearest shelter, the Aycock garage. Cora is washing the dishes while her hubby takes the lit- tle fullbacks to school. We walk down mainstreet, pass the Pevey Movie Palace and Little Reggie's Coney Island. We couldn't leave without a glance at L.H.S. The successor to R. L. Speight is Raybum Williams. We're not surprised to find T. O. Spann grading papers during classes. On our way to Hollywood, we catch sight of the Stidham-Teny Big Show. lim Frye, prize barker, begs us to see the Harp Girlie Show, but we prefer to see the Seven Foot Wonder tlanice lonesl. Tam- bourines attract us to the Metcalf medicine show to see lohn and Algie Callahan in an impressive black- face act. We receive a card in Hollywood by the famous producer, Iames Mathis and his hospitable wife. the former Paula Lewis. A mammoth production is underway at the Stars Studios and we peek in a sound stage to witness a touching love scene between Tom Reeh and Corine Smith. The play's story is from Merry Wood's masterpiece of the year, the Life of Nell Skidmore. Hollywood football heroes include Russell William, Edwin Slattery and Thomas Carlisle. The football hero's mascot is Iewel Taylor. Going home, we wearily pick up our newspaper, the Rains and Times. Reba Wood is a French countess, now celebattng her fifth marriage. Bobby Dill was elected Outstanding Pickle-taster of the Year. Iacquelyn Robertson won fame in the veterinary field for saving the life of Tweety, lap dog of the multi-millionaire, George Numsen. Marion Smith received the Congressional Medal of Honor for hittlng her husband. Bobby Southall and Howard White are still running around engineering for dates. Decorating the front page is a picture of Pat Lane, Wesley Sullivan, Dorothy Schell, and Iim- my Livingston behind bars for participation in cr barroom brawl. The confusion was said to have started when the bartender, Jody Sturdevant, threw a chair at the elite.
