Preface E present this, the twentieth volume of the OLLA PODRIDA, to our Class and School with the hope that they will be lenient in their criticism, and forgive all the errors which have been made. Every volume of this kind should be an improvement on the preceding one, for every board of editors has the experience of its predecessors to guide it in its work. In striving to surpass the book of last year, however, we feel that we have undertaken a task which was extremely difficult. , Whether we have made any improvements or no, we leave to the decision of our readers. W'e only hope that the following pages will give you an idea of our life at Lawrenceville and that there will be found therein nothing that will Cause ill-feeling of any kind. A As regards the drawings, which make or mar the success of a year-book, we have been handicapped no little by- a lackof material.
