Victor marks first game at new stadium The Blue Raiders opened the season with a new team and a new stadium. Both were in excellent shape as they defeated their first opponents, Newman- Smith, 24-0. About 6,500 fans showed up to cheer the Raiders on. Todd Roblee scored the first points with a twenty-three yard field goal in the first quarter. The defense also worked well, recovering two first half fumbles. In the second quarter both Mike Taunton and Jason Shawver ran one- yard touchdowns.
