Could you imagine having to teach sophomores? Well, many teachers do. lt's hard at first because the students don't know the school or the students around them. The teachers have to help them make a transition. Students don't get into class conversations. They're a little bit shy and don't want to make fools of themselves. After a while they got into the swing of things and start to be brave. They make friends with the teachers and other students. Some teachers feel that sophomores need to mature. Since the students don't know about school policies and they never bother to find out, they mess up many times and don't even know it. All in all. When sophomores first come to L.C.H.S., they have a lot of adjust- ments to make. Styles, as usual, were carried over from the previous year, while new ones were introduced. One of the many styles that returned were the 501 Levi button fly jeans. Concert t-shirts were also very popular. Among the new fashions were oversized shirts and flourescent cloth- ing. Another more popular style was paisley, which was a fad many years back. lt was reintroduced to us by Prince. Paisley is a wool fabric with wov- en patterns on it. Just goes to show that fashions and styles revolve in circles.
