The super-spirited Juniors strutted their stuff and made it known that they did not forget spirit week! The day with the most Dresser-Llp pers was Friday- Red and Blue day! Hardly a soul didn't display the mighty Bulldog colors. The hallways were a sea of red and blue. Even the teachers par- ticipated. Students wearing hats, sunglasses, old- time fads, future-fangled get-ups, and tourist apparel. Whatta group! These were the students at LCHS during the traditional week before homecoming called Spirit Week. At first, when students started to arrive at school on Monday, only a few high- spirited bulldogs showed their hats and sunglasses. On Tuesdy, a few more dawgs showed their mean faces camouflaged in old- time wear. These old timers began to lift the spirit of others. Sunglasses help!

colors! RED and BLUE ALL THE WAY! Almost all of the Las Cruces High School Bulldawgs, students, cooks, faculty, custodians, EVERYBODY joined together to show the whole world that the Bull- dawg Power at Las Cruces High School is the BEST!!! Spirit week came to an end Friday night when we, the LCHS Bulldawgs, played football with the Albuquerque High Bulldogs. The dawgs fought hard all the way to clash heads with the opposing dogs, but we didn't give them all we had. Albuquerque had'an unsettled win of l9-15. Although we didn't bite them hard enough this year, next year will be a different story.
