climbing to success! Although it is the largest class at LCHS this year, initially the Junior Class was reluctant to get involved in class activi- ties. After the cancellation of the main fund raiser, the enchilada supper, pros- pects for the prom looked grim. A major goal was then set by officers and spon- sors to involve all Juniors in supporting money-making projects. The production of an impressive prom became the top priority. Armed with salesmanship and confidence, the Junior class achieved success on May 3, offering LCHS the best prom ever! The super-spirited Juniors strutted their stuff and made it known that they did not forget spirit week! The day with the most Dresser-Llp pers was Friday- Red and Blue day! Hardly a soul didn't display the mighty Bulldog colors. The hallways were a sea of red and blue. Even the teachers par- ticipated. Students wearing hats, sunglasses, old- time fads, future-fangled get-ups, and tourist apparel. Whatta group! These were the students at LCHS during the traditional week before homecoming called Spirit Week. At first, when students started to arrive at school on Monday, only a few high- spirited bulldogs showed their hats and sunglasses. On Tuesdy, a few more dawgs showed their mean faces camouflaged in old- time wear. These old timers began to lift the spirit of others. Sunglasses help!
