Lambuth Install s New President On October 10, 1987, Dr. Thomas Frank Boyd was installed as the sixth president of Lambuth College. During his fifteen year career in administration, he has served as Director of Institutional Research, Dean, Vice President for Development, and Executive Vice President. The various representatives of the college ' s constituency de- livered their greetings, the presentations were made, the Concert Band and Choir performed. Dr. Boyd sparked interest with his address entitled Exploring ' ' during the ceremony. Dr. Boyd ' s message raised issues and hopes pertinent to today and conveyed insight into Lambuth ' s problems and hope for Lambuth ' s future. Among his goals for the years to come were the creation of a Master ' s degree program in the liberal arts, the establishment of an honors program within the college, and the formation of a student and faculty exchange program with a foreign siste college. Dr. Boyd also stated that the most integral element of any college is the student body. He left, the impression that if treated with respect and confidence, students will respond in like fashion.
