The deadline is when TOlVlORROW! ..these were'voices often coming S 2 from the journalism room. Hard work and determination were always being ex- pressed in that room. A4111 A v' L The rBeSt'gAngleQInr Clubs Is llll The Future Homemakers of America believe in fun. Every year the FHA sponsors the kissing booth, and the food drive. The kissing booth is part of a program to help people to stop smoking, and all the proceeds from this pro- gram goto the American Heart and Lung Association. The food drive is run every year by the FHA in order to collect food for those who are without. Each year they collect hundreds of canned and boxed foods to give to the Salvation Army. It makes me feel good knowing that I'm helping other people, said FHA member Ming Driskill. Besides raising money and food for other people, they also have an anual Thanksgiving dinner that they prepare themselves. At the dinner the FHA has time off to socialize and plan their next big event. Ray Pylant f The best part is sharing ideas and having fun gp with your ,nts friends. - Dana Jones Ing Clubs T 161
