In September of 1945, the three buildings of Lackawanna High School played host, for the first time, to a gangling horde of Freshmen, freed from the trials a.nd tribulations of grammar school, and, although pretty green and still wet behind the ears, we were eager to learn and earn a place for ourselves at L. H. S. From this humble beginning has risen the mighty Junior Class of 1945-46. Among our many accomplish- ments we boast of having had our share of athletes representing L. H. S. in league competition. Juniors, furthermore, are represented in the many clubs which promote good feeling throughout the school. Ar the Lincoln Annex those Friday night socials have become almost an institution. Although their Christ- mas Pageant was cancelled, because of the weather, the Juniors at Lincoln Annex outdid themselves in bringing before us one of the outstanding Varsity Shows in the classis history. This year, as in years gone by, we are looking forward to the day when we will become seniors. Next year, when this hope becomes a reality, we can look back with pride upon our class record. Our accomplishments have been many and our failures few.
