This year the Music Department could be considered one ot the most active depart- ments as well as being well-known through- out Oregon. The student body should com- mend them tor their excellent service to Klamath Union High School. A Larry Taylor and Bob Scholl practice during third period band. Daily practice in band is essential to a band, Steve Lawrence, Don Chitwood, and Don Piper practice during class. EPHRAIM HACKETT DALE HALLECK ,Muff The Music Department has some ot the busiest classes in K.U.H.S. The choirs, or- chestra and band make up these excellent groups. The choir, during the Christmas season, Witte the help of the orchestra presented the Me: 'iah, held annually at Mills Auditorium. ln t e spring the Freshman Choir, A Cap- pella' II, and A Cappella I, put on a series of concerts held at Mills Auditorium. This took weeks of preparation with a success- ful finale.
