Typing, general business, shorthand, business machines are but a few of The classes Taught in Klamath Union This year. Here Miss Bear shows a student iust how to use the adding machine cor- rectly. Students of KU are given basic training on most common busi- ness machines.

Wonder where the gasoline smell is coming from? remarked one Klamath Union student. Upon investigation it was discovered that the Automotive Mechan- ics class was taking 'apart and reassem- bling the parts of angautomobile. Another course offered under the vo- cational guidance system is Mechanical Drawing. Mechanical Drawingyis divided up into four divisions according to year. First year learns the basic steps of draw- ing. Second year works on pattern de- velopment, sheet metal, and the funda- mentals of architecture. The third year proves to be more com- plex as students are required to pursue in more detail subjects taught in the first and second year.
