BASEBALL The Bulldogs will defend the Suburban Conference Cham- pionship with a strong hitting team, lead by returning letter- men Bob Janukowicz, Dave Miniman, and Pete May. Janu- kowicz and Miniman are experienced defenders at short-stop and third base, respectively, while May, together with Jeff Slater and Bob Quinn. will help form the outfield. Rounding out this year ' s squad are juniors Gil Gleim, Rick Wnek, and Ed Cook in the infield, as well as senior Doug Freeman and Jim Schoch. who will do much of the pitching. 105

INDOOR TRACK Success and poor facilities highlighted the first year of indoor track as an accredited sport at Jonathan Dayton. The most outstanding achievement was Regional ' s victory in the State Group Two re- lays. In that meet. Norm Reinhardt, Bob Ripp, Joe Rapuano and Paul Fanaroff took first place in the sprint medley. This year ' s record in indoor track is undoubtedly an indication of success in the future.
