Pres.-Jim Moreo V. Pres.-Eddie Sterling Sec.-Carolyn Polhemus Y Treas.-Neil Allen Senior Class History - The year 1948 marked the beginning of a new class of seniors. All of us were anxious to get back for our last year of high school. We selected our class officers. Our faculty advisor was Mr. Strickler. Our class was well represented in Y-Teens, G. A. A., Choir, Varsity D , etc. Also, Edgar Bonham, Edward Sterling, Neil Allen, and Barry Staup were chosen to represent us in the Student Council which was started this year. We were proud of having the queen and her attendents chosen from our class for the Homecoming Event. A dance in their honor was held after the Homecoming Game, sponsored by the G. A. A. The queen was Emogene Barnesg the attendents, Pat Berry and Carolyn Polhemus. Baccalaureate Services on May 21 and Commencement on May 24 brought about the close of our high school careers. Most of us regretted this fact, but of course all of us know we shall always be welcome to come back for a visit. Class Motto: Be sure you're right, then go ahead Class Colors: Cardinal Red and Hunter Green. Class Flower: Lily-of-the-valley. 14 SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS Serg.-at-Arms-Milton Hoover
