FIELD HOCKEY VVhen the leaves begin to turn and the school bells begin to ring, everyone knows it is time for that grand sport- Field Hockey. Each girl gets herself a hockey stick and shin guards and races to the field to help her team win. ln the past years the girls have gone to Ella Sharp Park, but because oi the gasoline rationing they played on the field in back of the school. Any girl who comes out for hockey will enioy the time spent playing the game. nl' BASKETBALL lsn't it exciting to watch a good basketball game played by the boys? Sure it is! Basketball can be played by the girls as well as by the boys, and, while watching the game is exciting, it's fun playing the game, too. li you think you would like this sport, and we know you will, next year you'll come out and be in our group.
