Derby Days Perhaps nothing embodies the spirit of Creek Week at Il ' P more than Sigma C:hi Derhy Days. This year. Alpha Sigma Tan won the first place trophy for gathering the most points. But all sororities joined together in friendly competition to raise money for Camp Orenda. The com- petition reached its peak at Keith Field during the games as different sororities participated in events like Dress A Sig, and everyone ' s favorite, Musical Ice Buckets. Heidi Sampson, a Sigma Sigma Sigma sister, reigned as Derby Days Queen. This year ' s Golden Derby was rescued from the basement of John Sutton Hail. Derby Days is just one example of the spirit of brotherhood and sisterhood each Creek exhibits during Creek ' eek. Other events this vear included the Phi Psi 500 and the .■ 11-Creek Pledge Mixer. 98

Farm Day Mav Madness weekend ended ILT Swi- ngout 80 with a liang on Sahirday, May 10 at the University Farm. Farm Day was a siui-filled success full of frislwes, egg- tossing, and a hat contest. Vans from the L ' nion transported students to the fiirm ail day. Once there, evervone could sit back, catch some rays and enjoy the music provided by the group Hef- wae. Weather didn ' t spoil the fim for anylrady. Fann Dav ' III turned out to l)e beautiful and simnv all day long, providing a good time for all who attended. 100
