4 01' Q The night finallygarrived and they were Our knees are shaking. but our hearts are filled with pride as we receive our long-awaited Caps. effing A fresh, warm piece of clay is molded, shaped, chiseled, until at last it begins to take on character, personality, indi- viduality of its sculptor. This is so with each young life which enters into a pro- fession. In the beginning is the girl . . . she studies hard, seeks knowledge, ques- tions, experiments, and improves upon her techniques . . . Page 40 As change is instituted, progress is made. New ideas are promoted and effi- ciency becomes the end result. This year, for the first time, the Banding Ceremony took place, providing each' junior and Senior student with a distinguishing mark. The nurse's cap is now adorned with a royal blue stripe crossing the left corner . . . the Junior with one and the Senior, two. Each stripe signifies innu- berable progressions made by the student as she reaches further into her profes- sion.
