These stories, gleaned from many sources, Alfred Lord Tennyson combined into his famous group of poems, IC-ylls of the King. Because every one, whether boy or girl, man or Woman, is familiar with these tales of Arthur and his Table Round, and because of the high ideals portrayed therein, we have selected The Idylls of the King as the theme for the Hughes Annual of 1929. We have endeavored to collect repre- sentative material from our days as Seniors, to arrange it in an interesting and readable order, and in so doing to preserve the memory of the class of '29 ad Qlnfinitum in these, our Idylls of the Senior Class.
