From a bevy of lovely girls pretty and talented Sandra Parnell, sponsored by Zane Daniel, was selected by the student body to reign over homecom- ing festivities at High Point College. Shattering all previous records of attendance, many alumni attended the homecoming activities on February 14. Dur- ing alumni registration in the morning campus tours were conducted by members of the local chapter of the High Point College Alumni Association. Accord- ing to custom Dr. and Mrs. Cooke held open house during the afternoon. Many alumni and their families attended the annual dinner in the Harrison Hall Cafeteria, over which Porter Hauser, president of the alumni association presided. Though disappointed by the loss of the game between High Point and Appa- lachian, fans nevertheless enjoyed the half-time ac- tivities of the game which included scenes from the Tower Players ' production, Girl Cra y, presentation of various awards, and the crowning of lovely Sandra Parnell, Homecoming Queen. ■ m Agjj .V.
