The Chi Phi's ended the Kappa Sig's domination on the touch football held, but the Kappa Sigs bounced back to take the basketball trophy by fielding an undefeated quintet. The PiKA's walked oft with the softball trophy and were leading in over-all competition when this arti- cle was written. Nick Nichols has clone a very hne job this year as Intramural Director and should be con- gratulated for handling such a thankless job so well. IH

Billy Williams, who was an All-Stater his freshman year, is back and his ability to get on base will be greatly ap- preciated hy the Tigers. The pitching staff this year is still a little weak, but it is greatly improved over last year's. Led by righthander Tom Glascoclc and Lefty Ed Siersoma, the Tigers seem to have two good front-line hurlers. Land should help out, along with Humphreys, and if sluggers Bob Curtis and jim Smith come through as expected, the Tigers should win their share of hall games. .uw ,, ,W an 'K XM in . gets? Boh Thalman. The Tigers dominated the Little Seven and the Nlason-Dixon Conference in the weight di- visions. and the Nlile Relav team set a new rec. ord in the Little Seven Nleet held at Death Yallev. Co-Captain Jim Frazer was undefeated in the shot put. and he succeeded in hrealcing his own record for the shot in the Little Seven Meet. Wvilev, Lee. Co-Captain Boh Gold.
