Organizations French Club This year the Plant French Club, under the sponsorship of Mrs. Renee Fisher, undertook a variety ot projects. Last tall, the group opened their popular French Pastry Shop to the crowds of students and college representatives attending College Night. The French Singers were a popular part ot the clubls activities. This group had the distinction of performing at a reception for the Secretary General i and the Executive Director j of the French Alliance. With an increased membership j this organization enjoyed an exciting year. Nancy Bailey and Mrs. Fisher enjoy Chris Hicks' translation of a favorite story. Sam- Organizations Spanish Honor The Spanish Honor Society recognizes outstanding Spanish lll and IV students who have earned an A average in Spanish and overall B average or better in all other classes lt not only recognizes these students but encourages them to further their studies in the language, the idioms, customs and cultures. ln depth study of the Americas and Spain are featured at all meetings. ln the Spanish Declamation Contest awards are given to outstanding Spanish students Expenses for the contest are partly paid by the dues collected from the members.
