Organizations Civinettes Civinettes began their schedule ot activities in the fall. For the Turkey Day game, Civinettes lent money to the cheerleaders so that they could buy new uniforms. Their community service for this year was a Christmas party for the underprivileged children at Rosa Valdez kindergarten. They participated in the powder puff competition at Dadts stadium. Last spring Civinettes oo-sponsored Twirp Twirl. At this dance the girls have a chance to ask the boys of their choice, 35 Civinettes' all-star team prepares for the big powder putt football game

. y 1 Members tell Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Kiwanettes at their fall tea. Organizatio Kiwa nettes Members of Kiwanettes worked hard to serve school and community throughout the year Each year Kiwanettes and Key Club sponsor the Turkey Day Dance which was held at the Trowel Trades Building. Sponsored by the Palma Ceia Kiwanis, the club also supplied the school with much needed bike racks. Kiwanettes helped out at the Tampa Junior Museum's Haunted House in order to raise money for the museum's operation. The club also supported an orphan overseas as they have in past years. The girls enjoyed themselves by participating in the powder puff football games and in Panther Prowl. Kiwanettes was sponsored by Miss Sally Burrows and Mrs. Toni Abercrombie. Organizations Civita ns Civitans is an active boy's service club at Plant vvhich helped this year in many school activities and functions. Their big project was the popular spring dance, Tvvlrp Tvvlrl, vvhlch they co-sponsored with Civinettes. For this function it is customary tor the dates to switch roles, and the girls ask the boys. Panther Turkey Day spirit was boosted by the Civitans Panther Provvl skit Invasion from the Red Planet. This skit took third place in the competition. Clvitans helped to pay for the lighted sign which is located in the main hall of the school.
