There were more styles of umbrellas displayed than were ever seen on-any hundred other , , 1TH the graduation of the present Seniors all recollection of the line old days of 1'CE1l.l12IZ11'1g, when banners were stolen, gowns seiaed, and Fresh- men were raided and despitefully treated-all such recollections, we repeat, will vanish, and the gentle art of hazing will join a long list of now-forgiotten Goucher customs. Surely the old system was an admirable way of disciplining Freshmen, and yet it had 'grave faults-but we refrain from haling forth from its 'flong home the errors of the old regime and wish merely to point out to our readers the contrast between the old order and the new.
