Experimentation with sophomore courses are still pro- ducing material and results for future changes. With the move into its new building, the department is beginning to expand research with the acquirement of new equipment and space. The glraduate program is still flourishing w ile stu- dents do important work in such areas as atomic, nuclear, solid state, and neu- tron diffraction studies. Psycholc gy: Studies in Human Behavior The main objective of the Psychology department here at Tech is to provide the student with an understanding of human behavior and its effect on per- sonal, family, and industrial problems. The department emphasizes the experi- mental approach by involving not only the faculty but graduate and under- graduate students in research programs.
