The eluh on Conesus Lake furnishes an excellent Course for the ardent golfers, antl the new courts on the lower campus are popular with the tennis enthusiasts. Although not required to tlo so, the men take part in many activi- ties tluring the year. Bowling, swimming, and tahle tennis are favorites. Riding is also popular, and many of the men are memhers of the cavalry troup. 99

E N'S BASKETBALL The famous Geneseo Spirit shines forth as brightly in the lield ol' basketball as it does elsewhere. Not in the least cowed by a lew defeats, the Geneseo team fought valiantly throughout the entire season. The Geneseo Spirit was again in evidence in the support of the basketball. games by the students. Under the guidance of co-captains the Geneseo team managed to hold their own during the basketball season. There were new additions to the team this year, with excellent prospects for next year's team. In fact, Geneseo oiiers a good opportunity to its men students to play a good game of basketball. The boys on the team learn IHOFC than how to play basketball. They come into contact with people of many different colleges through their basketball games. They also learn to handle their finances wisely, for they IHLISI budget the expenses for each game. ln this way through basketball, the boys ol'Geneseo learn more than how to sink a shot.
