Everyone has been very active in each of the clubs with fund raising activities such as bake sales. Both clubs are trying to raise enough money to have a special ethnic dinner. The Clubs also attempt through field trips to gain insight into the culture they are studying. As an example, Pictured Below, is the Spanish club visiting a Spanish museum in the city. No group pictures were available because of Galileo's split schedule-split campus but everyone is pitching in to make this a successful term. Ml vfffrgm Q The Chinese Culture Club started off this year with 40 active members under the leadership of Thomas Shea. Some major projects were: Chinese translation in an elementary school during the Teacher and Parent Conference meetingsf setting up a Christmas party for 700 kids at Holiday lnnf organizing a Chinese New Year assembly for the schoolf and repainting the benches in the Courtyard in honor of the School's Rededication. Some social activities included picnics, bar- becues, and dances. The Club concluded the year with a Chinese banquet. l l

Career Guidance: serve as an information clearing house relative to careers and their relevance to school programs. 3 . Job Placement: serve to coordinate the job placement function at Galileo .
