Ml vfffrgm Q The Chinese Culture Club started off this year with 40 active members under the leadership of Thomas Shea. Some major projects were: Chinese translation in an elementary school during the Teacher and Parent Conference meetingsf setting up a Christmas party for 700 kids at Holiday lnnf organizing a Chinese New Year assembly for the schoolf and repainting the benches in the Courtyard in honor of the School's Rededication. Some social activities included picnics, bar- becues, and dances. The Club concluded the year with a Chinese banquet. l l

01 i eople-culture 'Wh-. M, . .mnsu-1lll 'gN The Spanish and French clubs consists of students from each of the foreign language classes. Everyone has been very active in each of the clubs with fund raising activities such as bake sales. Both clubs are trying to raise enough money to have a special ethnic dinner. The Clubs also attempt through field trips to gain insight into the culture they are studying. As an example, Pictured Below, is the Spanish club visiting a Spanish museum in the city. No group pictures were available because of Galileo's split schedule-split campus but everyone is pitching in to make this a successful term.
