The Sr. High Band started the 1977-'78 school year with a new director, Mr. Thomas Callo- way. Mr. Calloway got the band to play more peppy and encouraging music at all the foot- ball games - besides working up several new half-time shows. The band played at all the pep-rallies, and even traveled to the state- playoffs with half the town of Foreman! After football season, the band presented several concerts. A few of the members even went to the Solo and Ensemble Contest and some tried out for All-Region. The year ended successfully with an awards banquet, which was held in the high school cafeteria.
