I I I I Ed Barber speaks to parents, teachers and friends at th Banquet. F.F.A. The purpose of Future Farmers of America was to praftice brotherhood, honor, rural opportuni- ties and responsibilites. They suceeded in developing these and the qualitities of leadership a Future Farmer should possess. They sponsored stock judging, potato judging, a parent and son banquet, fair booths, showed stock, and had a parliamentary law team. Their offiuers were: Ed Barber, President, jim Nance, Vice-Presi- dentg Merrill Klocke, Secretary, Calvin Patterson, Treasurer: Richard Heimbach, Reporterg and Louis Henderson, Sentinel. Mr. johnson and Mr. Snell were their advisors. e F. F. A. F.H.A. girls Lavaughn Searcy, Margaret Nickell, Marie Rasmussen and Virginia Quicksall pick out pillows and furniture for their dream homes. F.H.A. The purpose of the Future Homemakers of America dwas to teach girls to be better home-male ers. The F.H.A. girls were the ones we had to thank for the hot coffee and dogs sold at the football game. Their initiation and installation were held in November. The officers were: Barbara Moses, Pres- identg Murla Moss, Secretary, Sharon Mudd, Treas- urerg Kay Thomas, Historiang Pat Snowden, Report- er, Mrs. Stappler, was the advisor.

THE EDITORS It took much time and effort to put out the Klahiam. The editorial and business duties included many tedious jobs. Editorially, the staff planned the layout of the book, and then throughout the year they filled in the skeleton of the dummy by writing, edit- ing, and proofing. The business included the tele- phone directory with our ads. subscriptions, supplies and finally, being sure that everyone got his or her Klahiam at the end of the year. fungi' Pts' ws. Wvfnurpr Marilyn Young, Sara Murphy, Margaret Camden, Mary Ann Camden, Pat Whitman and Pat Gotch go over the pictures before sending them to the engraver. Wane aimed Tu, A-eg Don Rhodes, Mary Wippel, Julie Schuller, Glenda Raaum and Ray Rickensrud watch while Kathleen Meyer shows them a good layout THE PHOTOGRAPHERS As usual, at the last minute the Klahiam photo- graphy staff was rushing around taking pictures so the Klahiam would be out on time, Pat Wliitiiuan and Mary Ann Camden headed the photography staff, consisting of Sara Lee Murphy, Patsy Gotch, Marilyn Young and Margaret Camden.

BULLDOG GUARD The Bulldog Guard had the job of selling and taking tickets and keeping order at home games, They also had the ioh of moving tahles in the cafeteria, and were of service to the school in many ways. The offi- cers were: Verne Emerson. Captaing Bob Bartak, lfirst Lieutenantg and Gary Hanson, Second Lieutenant. The advisors were Mr, Purnell and Mr. McKim. 38 TRIPLE E Triple-E Qwe wish someone knew what it stands tory wth Mrs. Wilkiris as advisor was form- ed by girls who donated their time to serve the school. They ushererd at the hall game, scored papers, ran errands, and fixed bulletin boards. The officers were: President, Mary Varnumg Vice-President, Nona Mitchellg Secretary, Patsy NX!altong Head Ushers, Shirley Mclntosh and Lorena Quicksall.
