Senior Day Held May 27 Senior Day was full of activities. It began at 8:30 in Munson Stadium. Graduation rehearsal went smoothly and Senior Day began. It was held at Grayson County College west campus. First was the sack race, then the 3-legged race and the egg toss. Prizes were iven to the winners of each event. Stu- dent then amused themselves with water volleyball and swimming until lunch which was catered by Church's Chicken. After eating, Seniors went for plane rides. The flights took them over the mall, the high school, Lake Tex- oma, and back to Perrin field. Each Flight lasted about twenty minutes. A bar-b-que dinner was held in the Silver Wings Club. A dance with a D.I. from KEGL 97 FM. lasted from 8:30 until midnight. Baseball caps were given to all seniors who stayed for dinner. This was a special surprise from Mr. Earl Turner, senior class sponsor. Senior Day was ossible because of money raised by the Senior play and a bake sale. Each student was required to sell 10 play tickets before he was able to go to Senior Day. Some students bought their tickets. Spike it, Poe! - Everette Poe played water volleyball with many seniors on Senior Day. Some teammates are Mike Guthrie, Steve Bolen, Todd Colemen, and Tom Poutiniemi. No one really took score but everyone felt that there was no loser. - Volleyball was played un- til dinner time. And then ... - Irene F is caught with her mouth again. Look familiar? Seems is caught like this quite often 88 Activities
