Mr. Gene Privett was on his eighth year coaching for the Coronado golf team. This year there were 14 guys and one girl on the team. Mr. Pri- vett decided to be the golf coach because he plays a lot himself and has been playing since his col- lege days. Mr. Privett's method for helping out the students was through con- stant pressuring them into doing the best that they could do. They had a very good season this year, nine wins and four losses. Mr. Pri- vett said, UI was really pleased with the turnout and the students have really put a lot of effort into the games. LINING UP HIS putter, a student concen- trates veiy hard.
