777 Mr. Cobb was Principal of CHS. We had Senior Class Parties. We had our Junior Prom. We went on strike. Ron Balboni went to Florida. Jitty wore Bermudas in the Senior Class Play. Dotty O'Malley wore her hair down. We had a day out of school because of coal gas fumes. Jimmy Loew didn't have a car. John Widdison, Red Ciavola, Billy Walsh and Ducky Richards went to Boys' State Maureen Kelly was chosen Prom Queen. Phi Beta Omega went to uHappy Hamptonf' Carol Duggan had a Cocoanut Party. Carol Casson saved Mary Lou from drowning on Charlie Wilson Day. Pat Burke took a car full of seniors to look for that man in Berlin. We had the Christmas Party at the Yellow Barn. We sat in the Sugar Bowlv for those long happy hours. Our cheerleaders won that trophy. The basketball players went to all those tournaments. Pat 0,Toole was Captain of the basketball team. That Gardner Game. Rock 'ni Roll was the craze. We went to the movies on Sunday nights. We were shy freshmen. Gailie came to CHS. Shiela Niemi left us to marry Sab. The rain came dripping through the corridors. Jackie Tefft had a party. We had Mel Miller record hops. We started singing. Charlie Altman was editor of the Octopus. Jane Garrity was selected D.A.R. Ron Balboni was elected State Representative. We got caught skipping. The girls used to run for a booth at the bakery. Mr. Hastings taught Spanish. J itty was picked President of Tau Sigma.
