Of Kuisti's many service projects the most noticeable ones are the Victory Bell which they donated to the school and the bright garbage cans in Cleveland's halls. They also donated their services for ushering at the Graduation Ceremony, serving at Open House, and donating money for various worthwhile causes. Outside of school, they worked with the Heart Association and the Boys and Girls Aid Society. One of their fun projects was washing the elk statue down- . town. Kuisti raised funds by holding two bake sales, a car wash, and a rummage sale. Their most famous money-making activity was a baked potato sale. A beach trip, a fire-side, a slumber party, a joint with Mu Nu Zi, an installation, and co- sponsoring the Christmas formal were some of the ingredients in their social year. my One of Kuisti's many services to Cleveland was painting the school's garbage cans. Phi Gamma's Combo Entertains Student Body No longer Optimist . . . after beating their brains to a pulp, the ingenious members of the late Optimist came up with a brainstorm for their club name . . . PHI GAMMA. Along with their annual Sock Hop, which they co-sponsored with Kyro, the boys found the time to have numerous joints, several car washes, and, of course, various service projects. They filled Christmas stockings for the Iunior Red Cross. The Red Tops, a band formed of Phi Gamma members, played at several dances. Red Tops perform as one ot Phi Gamma's service projects.
