' It 1-lfswfh sg '-U -mms' ist' ,,,..fv Amikki Advertises Father-Daughter Banquet Daisy Mae Dragf the annual Twirp Dance, which climaxed a three-day Week of consideration on the part of the girls met with overwhelming success. The theme for the dance was taken from the Li,l Abnern comic strip. The most convincing Liil Abner and Daisy Mae were crowned King and Queen of the Twirps. Fantasia, the spring formal-which Amikki co-sponsored with Trolee -was one of the big social events of the year. Some of Amikkiis more unusual service projects were pushing thc candy and hook cart at the Providence Hospital and visiting their adopted Grandmother Molly. Barbara NValter' Fall President ..... .raw ,, I ,rfrw -f Rosalie Mantia Spring President Beta Chi Rummage Sales Prove Successful One of Beta Chils most unusual service projects this year was polishing the auditorium chairs. The club members also kept busy ushering at the Civic Theater, keeping the club board in order, and keeping students off the 3rd floor during lunch periods. Other activities were a Charleston Line at the F reshie Frolic, decorating the office, a car wash for the men teachers, Christmas Party at the Waverly Baby Home, and a rummage sale in Ianuary. Beta Chi also co-sponsored the fall formal, Fall Fantasyi' in November. Beta Chi's rummage sales have always been a success and this year was no exception.
