Freshmen Row 1: Kenneth Tobin, Mary Schanzenbach, Zoa Eicher, Mary Webb, Anne Blackford, Joyce Zucker, Clyde Rossman. C Row 2: Mrs. Eula Brown, Donald Kalb, Lyle Shock, Howard Sheely, Donald Auck, Paul Kanney, William Leuthold, Carl Kalb, Richard Schanzenbach. The ninth grade enrolled two new members at the beginning of the year, William Leuthold formerly of Lykens and Paul Kanney who attended' school at New Washington. On February 29, we had charge of Chapel. On March 28, we -gave our assembly. At the end of the year, we gave a high school party as a farewell for the Seniors. ' Sophomore Class Row 1: Mr. Jordan, Kenneth Clady, Kenneth Kalb, Victor Wurm, Gerald Kreim, Idonna Lutz, Dolores Stein, Robert Leonhart. Row 2: Joanna Beal, Faye Ostermyer, Marilyn Schifer, Dorothy Siesel, Rosalie Kalb, Marcia Zucker, Miriam Gerhart, Zona Eicher. Absent was George Agee. On September 9, 1951, the Sophomore class met lor the first time in the year of 1951-52 with our sponsor, Mr. Donald Gilbert. The officers elected were as follows: President, Kenneth Cladyg Vice President, Marcia Zucker, Secretary, Marilyn Schiferg Treasurer, Miriam Gerhartg Student Council, Dorothy Siesel, News Reporter, Rosalie Kalb. When we returned to school after our Christmas vacation we found a pleasant surprise awaiting us. We acquired a new sponsor, Mr. Donald Jordan, who took the place of Mr. Gilbert. As the new year proceeded we planned our assembly and class party. On February 15, we gave a two cast play entitled Pau1Wrecks the Car under the direction of Mrs. Eula Brown. We sponsored a St. Patrick's Day party which was given March 14. Music was furnished by Crisslnger's Friendly Neighbors Orchestra. 21

Eighth Grade l Row 1: Silas Beal, Lois Sharrock, Margaret Ross, Dorothy Gerhart, Ruthie Schwemley, Carolyn Schifer, Gary Smith. Row 2: Miss Smith, James Lutz, Roger'Rothhaar, Thomas Clinger, Carmen Heiser, William Eicher, Henry Bushong, James Leuthold. Row 3: Robert Kalb, Leonard Kocher, Paul Beal, David Webb, Larry Vredenburgh, Ronald Sand. Absent: Roger Long, Paul Vinson, Jackie Kirby. The eighth grade started another year in Junior High. We elected officers at the beginning of the year. They are as follows: President, Robert Kalb: Vice President, Carmen Heiserg Treasurer, Paul Beal: Secretary, Roger Rothhaarg Student Council, Leonard Kocherg and Sponsor, Miss Virginia Smith. We invited the Seventh Grade to a roller -skating party at Bloomville roller skating rink in January. We all had a wonderful time including the tumbles and spills . At the beginning of the year we gained two new students. Henry Bushong from Marion, and Paul Vinson from Bucyrus. We also lost one member, Emma Jean Lammers who moved to Edwardsport, Indiana. Now we are looking forward to next year when we will become Freshmen. ,za
