THIRD ROW: Doug Smith, Charles Daugherty, Jack Norton, Stephen Freeze, Don Johnson, BACK ROW: Joe Perks, 6'Tom Tom Face Red Letter ear Armed with peneils and paper, the twenty yearbook stall members ventured out this year in quest of Whatever made l964 unique. No classroom, no Central function was sale from their prying eyes. The TOM TOM staff had a formidable task before them: to live up to the reputation ol the '63 book, which had earried away highest honors in two national contests. Led by lVlr. Iaek Orme, their advisor, and Charles Daugherty, their editor, the group met first hour every day in room lOl. Rick Stowell was the go-everywhere photographer, Iean Ririe handled the eorrespondenee, Ioe Perks managed the business, and everyone else wrote headlines, eutlines, and eopy. There were light moments too, like the eoronation of 'KlVliss Tom Tom If' the gala red earpet party for the Beuby Bombers, the after school Work sessions, and the times when everyone just sat around and talked.
