HE French Club, one of Central's most active and largest clubs, was organmed in the year 1919. The new club formally adopted the name, Le Foyer The LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA purpose, as set down by the charter members, was uto devote time to the study and practice of French customs, and to promote the spirit of good fellowship by means of genial informality and cooperation among all club members. Today, Linder the guiding hands of Mrs. Drechsler and Miss Holliday, the club has grown to be the largest language club here at Central, and one of the largest clubs in the school. The original purpose still holds. To acquaint the members with the life and customs of France, French songs are sung, and French plays are given at the regular meetings. lt is the purpose of the club to give all members a part in the programs.
