Methodist Student Movement The Methodist Student Movement is organized around six small groups called DIALOGUE-COVENANT GROUPS, including the steering committee which operates on the small group basis. Six to twelve members are in each group, with each group meeting once a week. The aim of such groups is to provide a context where persons can create honest and authentic relationships through experiences of self-discipline and commitment. Students commit themselves to two hours a week, one for prepara- tion and one for the meeting of the group. Inherent in such commitment is concern for the other members of the group and the total life of the ' fellowship. The meeting of the group is structured around a study paper which enables the members of the groups to en- counter views on significant issues and struggle with them in the community. Some Thursday evening meetings of the total membership of all small groups provide instruction, challenge, and orientation through speakers, films, panels, etc. Kay Reaves, Karen Everitt, Ralph Harker, Mary Pool- man, John Walker, Will Finnin. tW- Lorris Wimberly, Suzanne Sherwin, Barbara Buckner, Patty Toevs, Rex Wilkes, Helen Giessen.
