Clays I-Dsimfy NE day rn September 1951 we opened the doors of Memorral 1-hgh School the doors that for the next frve years would serve as the entrance to our hlgh school After we got used to the new routrne and were frnally able to frnd our way around we held our flrst electron of class offrcers The results showed Andrea Wolfe to be Presrdent Kenny Brayer Vlce President Laurre S1r1lla Secretary and Frank Carontonrs Treasurer We became acquarnted wrth a man with whom we would be closely assoclated Mr Dreter our sponsor Our Greenre year was frlled wrth expectations of berng upper classmen Before we knew II we opened the doors to M I-l S as freshmen Agarn we held an electron of class offrcers and Tony Rrch was elected Presrdent wrth Kenny Brayer Sharlene Tofrl Frank Caron toms and Sylvra Vours as h1s supportrng officers That year we had two class socrals the Fresh men jrngle Jamboree a Chrrstmas party and the Freshmen Spring Hop At the sprrng dance we crowned our frrst class krng and queen Tony Rich and Patty Zbell All tolled our freshmen year proved to be qurte a good one As sophomores we were now elrglble to partlclpate ln varrous clubs and actrvltres so we did just that We armed to prove that we were an up and comlng class!
