Finishing the season with a 10-2 record, Butler High's baseball team tied Dover for the first place in the Lakeland Conference. All-State honors went to John Jansen and Greg Mazza. Jansen sparked the Bulldogs with a batting average of .352 and Jim Alise followed closely with a .343 average. With seven lettermen and strong reserves returning, Mr. Ingold hopes to take the Conference again in'55.
